Government teachers across Sindh, including Karachi, are protesting against the results of the teaching license test.

While holding a press conference at the Karachi Press Club, the teachers expressed their reservations that teachers who scored more than 50 percent in the test were declared failed even though they have M.Ed., B.Ed. and master's degrees in their subject.

Expressing their reservations, the teachers said that not only are people with less education than them being recruited by giving teaching licenses, but the government has also introduced a new policy to recruit them directly in grade 16, which is contrary to the existing government policy.

They alleged that this teaching license policy has been brought according to the wishes of one person and through it, the educational policy is being distorted so that specific people can be awarded.

Government teachers appealed to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah to immediately declare all teachers who scored 50 percent marks as passed and provide them with teaching licenses so that the education system can be improved.
