for the 6th China-Pakistan Marine Information Workshop, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abid, T.I., Director Campus, joined a Pakistani delegation led by Vice Admiral Abid Hameed for the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with the President, Vice President, and other high-ranking HEU officials.

In order to host high-level international academic conferences and workshops and to concentrate on student education, Harbin Engineering University and the Pakistani delegation signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs).

Harbin Engineering University President Song Yingdong spoke at the event and emphasized the expanding partnership between China and Pakistan in talent development and marine information research, which is made possible by the China-Pakistan Marine Information Joint Research Laboratory.

He underlined that HEU wants to use its experience in the ocean sector to further the global marine industry by strengthening collaboration with Pakistan in the areas of scientific innovation, talent development, and application of research findings.

Vice Admiral Abid Hameed of the DCNS-Pak Navy encouraged students to work together on marine science and technology while praising China's maritime innovations and HEU's accomplishments in shipbuilding and underwater acoustics.

MoUs were signed at the conclusion, and mementos from both sides were traded.
