The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports, has launched an initiative that will allow students from the country's Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) to travel to Turkey using official passports.
Important Guidelines for Students
The advice states that before leaving, students must meet certain requirements:
- A certificate from a government hospital attesting to one's suitability for travel.
- Written permission to participate from parents or guardians.
- A green blazer will be provided by the government, and each student is required to set up two white shalwar kameez outfits with shoes.
- Students are not allowed to bring laptops or cameras, and they are only allowed to have one shoulder bag.
- It is necessary to give the parents' or guardians' contact details beforehand.
The IBCC has further mandated that the different boards bear the cost of pickupand drop-off options.
Deadline
All BISEs have been directed to deliver the passports and necessary documentation of the chosen students to the IBCC Secretariat in Islamabad by September 19, 2025, so that they can be forwarded to the appropriate authorities.
Coordination and Supervision
It is the responsibility of the chairpersons of each BISE to oversee the program's seamless execution and assist students in completing the necessary steps.
This crucial step has been widely gaining much recognition among students, parents, and other segments of society. Such study tours are very rare in the country, and taking deserving students outside of the country will boost self-esteem.
It will also promote hard work and sincerity in studies, and every student in the country will try to work to get success.
