According to the information that has been provided, Governor Muhammad Balighur Rahman, in his capacity as Chancellor of the province of Punjab, has given orders to the vice chancellors of all public and private universities in the province to encourage faculty members and students to participate in an awareness campaign regarding diabetes.

He said that colleges and universities should make it a priority to host diabetes awareness weeks on an annual basis. should be invited, and channels for social media should be utilized for the purpose of extensive awareness of the event. In addition to this, the Governor of Punjab has been instructed to provide the Governor Secretariat with a complete pictorial report on Diabetes Week during the second week of December.
