In a major step to improve Pakistan-China educational relations, Secretary of Education Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani met with a powerful Chinese delegation at the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training on Monday. The delegation was led by Wang Dang, Chairman of CIIC Technology Group Co. Ltd.
The General Manager of CIIC International Education Technology Co. Ltd. was also a member of the Chinese delegation. Both Mr. Muhammad Aamir Jan, Executive Director of NAVTTC, and Mr. Sohail Akhtar, Joint Secretary of Education, attended the meeting.
Secretary Wani greeted the team with great warmth and recognized Mr. Wang Dang as a longtime friend of Pakistan who has continuously backed the nation's development objectives.
Our main goals are to provide educational access, upgrade teacher preparation programs, improve infrastructure, and attend to the dietary requirements of school-age children.
CIIC is very interested in setting up technical training facilities all over Pakistan, according to Chairman Wang Dang. He said, "We want to give the young people the skills they need to be productive members of the workforce and meet the needs of Chinese companies growing under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)."
Additionally, he commended Pakistan's efforts to reform education and stated his unwavering support for additional cooperation.
One of the meeting's main outcomes was the agreement between the two countries to set up a bilateral meeting between the Chinese and Pakistani education ministers in order to accelerate the construction of the technical training centers led by CIIC.
Under the direction of a specialized task force that the Prime Minister organized, the Ministry has adopted a comprehensive approach to educational reform. He stated that these focused actions are intended to have a long-lasting effect.
Mr. Wang Dang gave a summary of CIIC's vast experience, pointing out that China International Intellectech Group Co., Ltd. was founded in 1987 and has its headquarters in Beijing. It offers intellectual and human resource services in more than 300 Chinese cities.
In order to accomplish mutual growth and development, the meeting ended with a common resolve to strengthen and broaden educational cooperation.
