A public sector Islamabad-based autonomous organization dealing with matters related to electric power in the country is seeking applications for two (02) positions of Assistant Legal Advisor.

Job Description:

• Provide legal advisory services within the scope of the organization's regulatory and operational framework.
• Handle legal issues, contracts, and documentation related to the power sector.
• Represent the organization in legal proceedings and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert legal counsel on diverse matters related to electricity and regulatory affairs.
• Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
• Represent the organization before courts, regulatory authorities, and other forums.
• Collaborate with different departments to ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation.
• Monitor legal changes and recommend organizational policy updates accordingly.

Requirements:

• LL.B/JD from a reputable institution (postgraduate or foreign degree preferred)
• Valid High Court License
• Minimum 10 years of legal work experience in reputable law firms/organizations
• Preference for candidates with experience in power sector or regulatory bodies
• (Note: Candidates with relevant experience and strong credentials may be given up to 3 years' relaxation in the experience requirement)
