Scientists have warned that a space rock with the power of 500 nuclear bombs, ‘Asteroid 2024 YR4’, is rapidly moving towards Earth.

The new claim made by scientists from the American space agency NASA regarding the space rock has caused a wave of concern all over the world.

According to a NASA report, the speed of the space rock coming towards Earth is more than 61 thousand kilometers per hour, this space rock has been named ‘Asteroid 2024 YR4’.

According to a NASA report, this space rock will pass very close to Earth in December 2032 or will collide with a part of the Earth.

Regarding ‘Asteroid 2024 YR4’, NASA says that if this space rock hits Earth, destruction is certain, while the chances of the asteroid hitting Earth are quite low.

According to NASA, the width of ‘Asteroid 2024 YR4’ is about 100 meters, which is traveling at a distance of 17 kilometers per second, and it will come very close to Earth by December 2034.

The report further states, if this asteroid hits the Earth, there will be a terrible explosion that will result in the release of about 8 million tons of energy, which is 500 times more than the nuclear bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

NASA says that this explosion will destroy everything within 50 kilometers of the Earth.
