The Saudi Ministry of Education has announced 10,494 teacher positions for the next school year in an effort to improve public education.

Applications will open in March for the position, which will be filled through the Jadarat national employment platform. 

Schedule for Applications

Applications for male candidates are accepted from March 7 to March 12, and those for female candidates are accepted from March 14 to March 19.

Transparency and merit-based selection are ensured by the recruitment process' adherence to public service human resources regulations.

Qualifications and Selection Standards

The open positions are categorized as "practicing teachers" and cover a range of courses that are necessary for educational institutions.

Applicants must fulfill academic requirements and successfully complete an assessment process based on:

• GPA cumulative (10%)
• Seniority at graduation (10%)
• Exam for a general teaching license (30%)
• Exam for a teaching license that is subject-specific (50%)

Interviews and document verification will take place on April 29 after the names of the selected candidates are revealed on March 23. On July 27, the final choice will be verified.

Educational Professional Development

Before starting their positions, chosen applicants must finish required training at the National Institute for Educational Professional Development.
