The Punjab School Education Department has made the decision to officially start licensing teachers in 2026.

The department claims that licenses will be required for both public and private educators.

For approval, the provincial cabinet will receive the summary of the teacher license.

The license will also be the basis for temporary instructors' contract extensions.

Obtaining a teaching license will require passing an exam.

A teaching license can only be obtained by individuals who successfully complete the exam.

PECTA will be in charge of administering the exam for the teaching license.

To raise educational standards, a license system is being implemented.

Students are to wear warm clothes of their choice.

The Sindh Education Department has instructed all private schools to permit students to wear any kind of jacket they choose, and there should be no restrictions on the use of sweaters with particular colors or designs during the winter.

Rafia Javed, Additional Director of Private Institutions Sindh, has sent directives to all private schools. In the winter, kids will be free to dress however they choose in warm clothing and jackets, she said. The administration of the school won't have kids wear particular warm attire.

Schools that disobey the orders would face consequences, according to Rafia Javed.

According to Rafia Javed, Sardar Shah, the minister of education for Sindh, gave the order for private schools to get the letter.

She stated that throughout the winter, children's health was a top concern. Any color and style of warm jacket can be worn by students.
