Punjab boards announce Intermediate HSC Part 1 results

The results of Intermediate Higher Secondary School Certificate Part I exams have been announced by the various boards across Punjab.
Lahore
The Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) reports that 84,785 pupils, or 52% of the 162,000 candidates who took the exam, passed. But a sizable portion—more than 77,000—were not successful, accounting for 48% of the failure proportion.

Gujranwala
Concurrently, the Gujranwala BISE declared that 131,397 students had taken part in the Inter Part I exams. Of these, Chairman Naveed Haider Shirazi reported that 68,071 candidates passed, resulting in a 51% success rate. Still, 63,326 pupils were deemed to have failed.

Sahiwal
In a similar vein, the Sahiwal board, where 39,855 students took the exams, also declared their results. 20323 of them passed, making the overall success percentage 51%, according to the chairman of the board.

Faisalabad
63,806 pupils were certified passable out of the 98,834 candidates who took the Intermediate Part 1 exams, according to the Faisalabad BISE. The success percentage was 64.56%.

Multan
68,674 pupils took the 11th Part 1 yearly exams, according to the results released by Multan Board Chairperson Maryam Khan. She declared that 37,814 applicants had passed the test, translating to a 55% success rate.
