Pakistan and Russia explore cooperation in Higher Education

Habib Ahmed, the honorary consul of the Russian Federation in Lahore, headed a delegation that met with Russian Federation ambassador to Pakistan Albert Khorev to explore deepening bilateral ties in a number of areas.
Prominent individuals such as Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Nizami and top former bureaucrat Dr. Allah Bakhsh Malik attended the meeting, which aimed to promote cooperation in the fields of science, culture, education, business, and technology.
The focus on student exchange programs, which aim to improve educational collaboration and reciprocal learning experiences between Russia and Pakistan, was a major feature of the discussions.
The group also looked into ways to increase tourism because it has the ability to improve cross-cultural understanding and interpersonal relationships.
In keeping with a commitment to strengthening ties between Pakistan and Russia, strategies for increasing direct interaction between the two countries' citizens were carefully considered.
The Russian Embassy's Chief of Education, Science, and Culture, Alena Kolesnikova, joined the ambassador and offered insightful advice on growing cultural and educational partnerships.
Speaking at the event, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Nizami shared hope for the developing Pakistan-Russian relationship, emphasizing the enormous potential for deep collaborations that might promote wealth and growth for both countries.
