The Universal Service Fund Co. (USF), a leading IT and Telecommunications organization under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017 (previously Companies Ordinance 1984), is seeking applications for the position of Law Specialist.

Job Description

The Law Specialist will play a key role in ensuring legal compliance, managing contracts, and providing expert legal guidance to the organization. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, maintaining regulatory standards, and addressing legal issues relevant to the IT and Telecommunications industry.

Responsibilities

Legal Advisory:

• Provide expert legal opinions on matters related to IT and Telecommunications.
• Ensure compliance with the Companies Act 2017 and other relevant regulations.

Contract Management:

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and MoUs.
• Ensure contracts align with organizational policies and legal standards.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Monitor and implement updates to relevant laws and regulations.
• Maintain legal documents and ensure adherence to corporate governance standards.

Requirements

Education:

• Law degree from a recognized university.
• Last degree must be attested by HEC (Higher Education Commission).

Experience:

• Relevant legal experience, preferably in the IT and Telecommunications sector.
• Strong understanding of corporate and regulatory laws.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents.
