The most awaited results of the CSS 2024 written exams are finally out and announced by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) on Monday. The success rate indicates the intense competition for Pakistan's top civil services.

The FPSC reports that 23,100 applicants applied for this year's coveted Central Superior Services (CSS) exam. In reality, 15,602 of them showed up for the written exams.

Only 395 of them were deemed successful, resulting in an overall success percentage of only 2.53 percent. Although this is normal by CSS standards, it still hurts thousands of applicants.

The next steps, which include the psychological test, physical examination, and viva voce (interview), will be pursued by the candidates who passed the written section.

One of the most difficult career tests in Pakistan is still the CSS exam, which is frequently characterized as a test of nerves, patience, and endurance in addition to knowledge.
