Cambridge International Education (CIE) students who took these three papers that were leaked during June 2025 will be eligible for free resits in the upcoming November 2025 session.
The papers that were released include AS & A Level Computer Science Paper 22, AS & A Level Mathematics Paper 12, and AS & A Level Mathematics Paper 42.
According to CIE, students who took these tests will be able to retake them for free.
The examination board stated that it was providing retakes to guarantee equity and equal opportunity for all candidates touched by the breach, even if results for the affected subjects will still be made available on time.
Additional information has been distributed to impacted pupils through their families and schools, according to a statement from CIE. Results will be released in June 2025, and more guidance will follow.
CIE added that students with questions are encouraged to get in touch with their schools.
Prior to deciding against a retest, CIE had acknowledged that the question papers for three AS and A Level exams in June 2025 had been partially leaked throughout Pakistan.
The CIE revealed in a statement that one question from the AS & A Level Mathematics Paper 12 had been leaked before the test.
Prior to the test, it was also stated that two questions from the AS & A Level Mathematics Paper 42 and portions of one question from the AS & A Level Computer Science Paper 22 had been leaked.
After concluding their investigations into the claims of leaked questions, the examiner stated that they were making sure all students received fair results.
