The Ministry of Defense's Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantonments and Garrisons) Directorate has announced 207 new teaching and support staff positions for its supervised schools and colleges.

All provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir are eligible to apply for the positions.

Teaching Posts

Elementary School Teachers (EST) are the primary candidates for most of the positions:

• EST: 121 seats for males (BPS-14)
• 71 spots for EST-Female (BPS-14)
• A 16-year degree in any field is required of applicants. Eligibility does not require a B.Ed. degree.

Other Positions

The following categories have seen the announcement of additional openings:

• One slot for a male librarian (BPS-15)
• Two places for a male library assistant (BPS-09)
• Eight seats for a male assistant librarian (BPS-09)
• One seat for the malbandmasterer (BPS-06)
• Three seats for the sewing mistress (female, BPS-06)

Age Restrictions

Age range for BPS-14 and BPS-15 positions: 20–35 years (with rules-based relaxation)

18 to 30 years old for BPS-06 and BPS-09 positions (with rules-based relaxation)

How to Apply

Only online applications will be accepted at induction.fgei.gov.pk. All necessary documents must be uploaded by applicants at the time of submission. It is required that roll number slips be downloaded from the internet and brought to the testing location. We won't accept hard copies.

Written Test Centers

The written test will be organized in six cities below:

• Peshawar

• Rawalpindi

• Lahore

• Multan

• Karachi

• Quetta

Policy for Age Relaxation

According to government regulations, age relaxation will be permitted; depending on the category, this can range from three to fifteen years. Only one category will provide flexibility for candidates.

Selection Policy

Candidates who get the short list will be invited for interviews based on how well they did on the written exam. Applicants must bring their original academic records to the interview. Applying through the appropriate channels requires government personnel to have a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department.

Important Guidelines

Applications with inaccurate or lacking information will not be accepted. It is recommended that candidates give accurate information in order to prevent disqualification.
