Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with expertise in DBT, HEX, and Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, and providing insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using DBT (Data Build Tool).
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into efficient data models.
• Utilize HEX for advanced data analytics and visualization, creating dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support various business functions.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through robust data validation and monitoring processes.
• Optimize and troubleshoot data pipelines and queries for performance.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics.
• Document data processes, models, and frameworks to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Proficiency in DBT, HEX, and Power BI is essential.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., Snowflake, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing solutions.
• Understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
