Job Description:

eSpark Consulting Group is looking for a skilled and passionate Procurement Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

Responsibilities:

• Develop procurement plans and strategies in collaboration with stakeholders to meet organizational needs.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities. Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and source new suppliers when necessary.
• Negotiate contracts, prices, terms, and deadlines with vendors to secure advantageous terms.
• Generate purchase orders and ensure accuracy of details such as quantity, price, and delivery schedules.
• Manage contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
• Monitor supplier performance and product quality to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
• Oversee inventory levels and ensure availability of necessary materials and supplies.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize procurement processes.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare and present procurement reports, including spending analysis, supplier performance, and cost savings.

Education Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and supply chain management principles.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
• Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
