Job Description:

As an Android developer, you will need to be familiar with the Android ecosystem and mobile app development, including familiarity with popular app frameworks and software development best practices. Your duties will include maintaining existing codebases, including bug fixing, and creating apps from scratch and maintaining existing applications as part of a team while following all coding guidelines and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with external data sources and APIs.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Architect, design, and implement new features according to business requirements.
• Mentor and guide junior developers in the team.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Lead the development and maintenance of Android applications with a focus on ad integration and monetization.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and implement ad features that align with business goals.
• Implement and optimize ad placements using various ad networks (e.g., AdMob, Facebook Audience Network, Unity Ads) and mediation platforms.
• Mentor and guide junior developers in ad implementation best practices and techniques.
• Stay informed about changes in advertising regulations and privacy policies, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.

Education Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Requirements:

• Proven software development experience and Android skills development.
• Proven working experience in Android app development and have published at least one original Android app.
• Experience with Android SDK, Kotlin, and Java.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics) for tracking ad performance and user behavior.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex ad-related issues.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
