Job Description:

eSpark Consulting Group is looking for a Python Developer to join our engineering team and help us develop and maintain various software products. Python Developer responsibilities include writing and testing code, debugging programs, and integrating applications with third-party web services. To be successful in this role, you should have experience using server-side logic and work well in a team. Ultimately, you’ll build highly responsive web applications that align with our business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code.
• Work closely with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement data storage solutions.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Education Required:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in Python backend development.
• Strong knowledge of Django, Flask, or other Python web frameworks.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of the threading limitations of Python and multi-process architecture.
• Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python.
• Knowledge of stock market and data processing.
• Experience with data migration, transformation, and scripting.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Experience or knowledge of stocks, options, trading is a plus.
