Job Description:

NetRoots Technologies is urgently looking to hire Senior Researcher Cyber Security having expertise in security of large scale distributed systems, cyber physical systems, software defined networks, Quality of experience trade-off in Edge, Fog and Cloud Computing.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct advanced research on the security of large-scale distributed systems, cyber-physical systems, and software-defined networks.
• Develop and implement security protocols and measures to protect against cyber threats in Edge, Fog, and Cloud Computing environments.
• Analyze and evaluate the Quality of Experience (QoE) trade-offs in various computing paradigms and propose optimal security solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into existing systems and infrastructure.
• Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences to contribute to the academic and professional cyber security community.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in cyber security technologies and methodologies.
• Mentor and guide junior researchers and team members in their research projects and career development.

Education Required:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with an emphasis on cyber security.

Requirements:

• Extensive expertise in the security of large-scale distributed systems and cyber-physical systems.
• In-depth knowledge of software-defined networks and related security challenges.
• Strong understanding of Quality of Experience (QoE) trade-offs in Edge, Fog, and Cloud Computing.
• Proven track record of conducting high-quality research and publishing in reputable journals.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research-focused environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience with mentoring and guiding junior researchers is a plus.
