Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT / Networking Officer to join our team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking, including the installation and configuration of switches and routers, as well as troubleshooting and maintaining network systems. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to manage various IT-related tasks, and a commitment to improving the overall performance of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure switches and routers to ensure optimal network performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and support the communications network, including server software and hardware.
• Perform regular backups of communications equipment, servers, and other network hardware.
• Manage email, fuel, and mobile accounts to ensure seamless operations.
• Handle queries and troubleshoot issues related to ERP systems.
• Suggest and implement improvements and updates to the IT systems to enhance performance and efficiency.

Education Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Preferred).

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in networking.
• Proficiency in installing and configuring networking equipment such as switches and routers.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for networking issues.
• Experience with maintaining and supporting communications network server software/hardware.
• Ability to perform regular backups of communications equipment and servers.
• Competency in managing email accounts, fuel, and mobile accounts.
• Experience in handling ERP system queries and troubleshooting.
• Capability to suggest system improvements and updates to enhance IT department performance.
