Business Development Executive

Job Description:

We're searching for a skilled Upwork Bidding Specialist to join our team and play a crucial role in driving new business through the Upwork platform. This is not just a lead generation role – we need a closer who can identify great opportunities, craft compelling proposals, and convert them into paying clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source and identify high-potential projects aligned with our expertise.
  • Analyze project details and client requirements to develop targeted proposals that showcase our value proposition.
  • Craft persuasive proposals that highlight our skills, experience, and successful track record.
  • Negotiate rates and project scope to ensure win-win outcomes for both us and the client.
  • Manage all aspects of the Upwork bidding process, from initial outreach to final proposal submission.
  • Maintain and optimize our Upwork profile to increase visibility and attract ideal clients.
  • Track and analyze bidding performance to identify areas for improvement and strategize for success.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business or marketing.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Upwork bidding and proposal writing.
  • Proven track record of securing high-value projects on Upwork.
  • Strong understanding of Upwork's best practices and bidding strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor proposals to specific client needs.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively and close deals.
  • Proficient in project management tools and Upwork functionalities.
  • A passion for the freelance marketplace and understanding of client expectations.

Other:

  • Experience in our specific industry that is E-commerce (WordPress, Shopify, Salesforce, Magento, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to bidding strategies.
  • Experience with Upwork Connect and other prospecting techniques.
