Job Description:

Aslase is firing a Junior Software QA Engineer to test and validate software products. Collaborate with developers and QA engineers on test case creation and execution. Ideal for those passionate about software testing in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated).
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to design and implement test strategies.
• Analyze user stories and use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings within Agile frameworks.
• Assist in the creation of automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
• Conduct performance and stress testing on applications.
• Provide detailed reports on testing results and quality metrics.

Education Required:

• Graduation in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Requirements:

• 8 months to 1 year of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, including test case creation, execution, and reporting.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is preferred.
• Familiarity with both automated and manual testing tools.
• Knowledge of database and stress testing tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
