Job Description:
Join our team as a User Experience (UX) Designer and play a pivotal role in shaping user-centered designs that drive product innovation and customer satisfaction. As a BA/BFA in Graphic Design with 4-5 years of experience, you'll utilize your skills and expertise to create intuitive and elegant UIs for both mobile apps and responsive web experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Create user-centered designs by synthesizing market analysis, customer feedback, and technical constraints/opportunities to deliver impactful solutions.
- Rapidly develop workflows, wireframes, design mockups, and prototypes to conceptualize new product initiatives and features effectively.
- Simplify complex processes into intuitive and elegant UIs, ensuring a seamless user experience across all touchpoints.
- Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications, collaborating closely with developers to ensure seamless transition from design to deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, product designers, engineers, and researchers to define, conceptualize, and design user-facing products.
Education Required:
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical, strategic, and conceptual UX design skills, enabling you to translate user needs into impactful design solutions.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Balsamiq, Sketch, Adobe XD, and Invision, allowing you to create comprehensive design deliverables and prototypes.
- Expertise in designing mobile apps and responsive web experiences, with a keen understanding of platform-specific design guidelines and best practices.
- Well-versed in user interface design processes and methodologies, including user-centered design principles and usability testing.
- Ability to leverage metrics, optimization, and qualitative and quantitative research to inform and validate design decisions, driving continuous improvement.
- Solid negotiation skills, capable of effectively advocating design solutions amongst peers and leadership to drive consensus and alignment.
- A strong user experience design portfolio showcasing consumer-oriented solutions for complex problems, demonstrating your ability to deliver impactful design solutions.
