Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef to provision and configure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability in production environments.
• Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions to track system health, performance metrics, and application logs for proactive issue detection and resolution.
• Ensure security best practices are integrated into the DevOps pipeline, including vulnerability scanning, compliance checks, and access control.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, providing timely support to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Continuously evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Document configuration, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure consistency across environments.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities to address production issues and ensure system uptime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.

Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in software development, system administration, or operations.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including compute, storage, networking, and security services.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell for automation and infrastructure management.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI for building, testing, and deploying applications.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS ECS.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, web servers, databases, and microservices architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are a plus.
