Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring high performance, security, and responsiveness.
• Customize and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
• Work closely with the design and content teams to implement and bring creative ideas to life.
• Identify and resolve issues related to website functionality, performance, and security.
• Optimize code for improved performance and ensure best practices are followed.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and WordPress updates to ensure websites are up-to-date and secure.
• Convert custom templates into dynamic WordPress themes, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Implement custom filters within WordPress for enhanced functionality and flexibility.
• Utilize popular page builders such as Elementor, Divi, and WpBakery to create stunning and responsive layouts.
• Use Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to create custom fields, providing clients with a user-friendly content management experience.
• Create and manage custom post types to organize content effectively and improve website structure.
• Develop e-commerce solutions within the WordPress framework using WooCommerce.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in WordPress development with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• In-depth knowledge of WordPress architecture, best practices, and coding standards.
• Experience with theme and plugin development/customization.
• Ability to create responsive and visually appealing websites that perform well across various devices and screen sizes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the highest quality in both code and design.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to evolving project requirements.
