Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Researching current fashion trends and determining consumer preferences.
• Collaborating with the design team to develop ideas for new products based on research data.
• Designing sketches for new products with the design team.
• Creating clothing patterns for mass production.
• Testing and selecting fabrics, colours, patterns, and textures for each design.
• Overseeing the production of designs, including fittings, pricing, and marketing management.
• Maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and models.
• Communicating technical design information for customer samples.
• Collaborating with team members to design clothes for upcoming seasons.
• Selecting fabrics and trims and creating tech packs with detailed specifications.
• Developing CAD sketches to present to stakeholders.
• Overseeing the prototype sample process and creating mood boards.
• Creating cost sheets and product lists.

Education Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field (preferred).

Requirements:

• Passion for textile design and fashion.
• Strong creativity and design skills.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
