Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer (WordPress) to join our team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining custom WordPress plugins, themes, and complex backend solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress plugins and themes
• Optimize and manage MySQL databases for performance
• Integrate third-party APIs and web services
• Debug and upgrade existing WordPress websites
• Ensure website security, scalability, and speed optimization
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and project managers
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in WordPress backend development
• Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, and WordPress core functions
• Experience with REST APIs, WP-CLI, custom post types
• Knowledge of WordPress security best practices
• Proficiency with Git and version control systems
