Job Description:

Gyrate Digital is hiring a WordPress Backend Developer to join our growing team in Lahore. This role involves developing and maintaining backend components of WordPress-based web applications, optimizing site performance, and collaborating with frontend developers to ensure seamless, responsive designs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins
• Maintain and improve existing WordPress functionalities
• Work with WordPress hooks, filters, and the WP REST API
• Optimize code for performance, security, and scalability
• Handle database configurations and optimize queries
• Integrate third-party applications and services

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT (preferred, not mandatory with experience)
• 1–2 years of experience as a WordPress Backend Developer
• Proficiency in Core PHP and WordPress development
• Experience with plugin and theme development
• Strong knowledge of WordPress security best practices (sanitization, authentication, etc.)
• Familiarity with integrating REST APIs
