Job Description

Al Rakan Construction is seeking an experienced Electrical Draftsperson for its Lahore office. You will prepare and update detailed electrical shop drawings, single-line diagrams, load schedules, and as-built drawings for high-rise buildings and villas, ensuring full compliance with DEWA, Dubai Municipality, and UAE authority standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical shop drawings, single-line diagrams, load schedules, and as-built drawings
• Ensure designs meet DEWA, Dubai Municipality, and consultant specifications
• Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams to avoid clashes
• Revise drawings based on consultant comments and site feedback
• Maintain drawing logs, version control, and documentation

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant drafting certification
• 10+ years of electrical drafting experience, with at least 5 years on UAE projects (DEWA/Dubai Municipality)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience is a plus)
• Strong understanding of UAE electrical codes and authority regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines efficiently
