Job Description:

Hired Networks is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Architect to lead the architectural evolution of a high-performance, real-time, event-driven analytics platform that processes millions of records. Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture of a scalable, event-driven analytics platform
• Optimize event handling, ingestion pipelines, and data syncing processes
• Design efficient data storage and retrieval strategies for real-time systems
• Enforce coding standards, patterns, and frameworks for asynchronous processing
• Champion testing practices across unit, integration, and acceptance levels
• Mentor engineering team members across the stack
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals
• Identify and resolve architectural bottlenecks with scalable strategies

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software development, focusing on event-driven architectures
• Expertise in asynchronous processing, message queues, and real-time pipelines
• Proficient in JavaScript/Node.js and modern backend technologies
• Strong understanding of scalable software architecture
• Experience with AWS (SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, S3) is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Hands-on experience with robust testing strategies and framework
