Job Description:

Vartana is looking for a DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and security compliance. This role involves working with Ruby on Rails applications, implementing monitoring solutions, and automating deployments to enhance system reliability and performance.

Responsibilities:
• Design, deploy, and manage AWS services (ECR, EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, VPC) with a focus on scalability and security.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Ruby applications using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Work closely with development teams to support application deployment and scaling.
• Implement monitoring solutions with AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, NewRelic, Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Set up alerts and log aggregation for proactive issue resolution.
• Enforce AWS security best practices and SOC 2 compliance standards.
• Automate tasks using Ruby or Bash scripts.
• Optimize AWS resource usage to reduce costs while maintaining performance.

Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, focusing on AWS and Ruby.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda) and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and container orchestration (EKS, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure management.
• Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, New Relic, or Prometheus.
• Strong scripting skills in Ruby, GoLang, or Bash.
• Proficiency in Git for version control and deployment management.
