Job Description:

We are seeking a Professional Engineer to assist regional builders with structural estimates, solutions, and pre-order assistance. This role involves utilizing proprietary pricing and design tools, evaluating project profitability, and mitigating risks. The engineer will also mentor peer estimators and serve as a backup for the Lead Estimator when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide timely and accurate structural estimates using company tools.
• Offer value engineering alternatives to enhance project feasibility.
• Communicate with builders to clarify project scope, inclusions, and exclusions.
• Manage multiple quotes efficiently while meeting deadlines.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop cost-effective solutions.
• Review and evaluate estimations for accuracy and completeness.
• Mentor and guide entry-level estimators and peers.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Certification: Professional Engineering (PE) registration required.
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of building codes, specifications, and steel structures.
• Preferred Experience: 6+ months in Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and Hot Rolled structures.
