Poly 1 Industries is seeking a motivated Assistant Business Development Sales & Marketing professional to drive growth within the plastic and polymer manufacturing sector. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and overseeing a team of 10 sales professionals to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Identify and explore new business opportunities in the plastic and polymer industries to drive growth.
• Build and maintain robust relationships with industrial clients, manufacturers, and suppliers to foster long-term engagement.
• Develop comprehensive monthly sales plans, set ambitious targets, and execute strategies that align with company goals.
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical consultations on polymer solutions to potential clients to demonstrate value.
• Prepare customized proposals and negotiate effectively to close deals with clients, ensuring a win-win situation.
• Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and corporate events to enhance market presence and create networking opportunities.
• Utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and performance metrics.
• Lead and manage a team of 10 sales professionals, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to enhance the team's sales skills and product knowledge.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform the sales strategy and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Preferably a degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the plastic, polymer, or manufacturing industry.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong market research, sales strategy, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in using sales presentation software and CRM tools.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a sales team.
• Technical expertise in polymer solutions and product knowledge.
