Job Description:

Staunch is looking for an experienced Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework. You will lead a team of four engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions and fostering professional growth. Your expertise in Ruby, Rails, and Agile methodologies will be essential in driving technical excellence and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing support for their professional growth.
• Engage with clients to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to industry standards.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality code and best practices.
• Utilize RSpec and other testing frameworks to ensure the reliability of applications.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance functionality.

Requirements:

• Ruby and Ruby on Rails expertise.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and RSPEC.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Git.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and RESTful APIs.
• Deep understanding of Ruby programming, Ruby on Rails framework, and Active Record ORM.
