Job Description:

As a Backend Developer specializing in Django, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining web application backends, including some AI-powered features. You will collaborate closely with project leads and front-end developers to deliver high-quality applications. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, basic knowledge of AI (especially LLMs and Stable Diffusion), and a passion for learning and coding efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop web applications using Django Rest Framework (GraphQL experience is a plus).
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Write efficient, reusable, maintainable, and dynamic code.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth application performance.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Django Developer with basic AI knowledge.
• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Solid understanding of the Django framework and its core principles.
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Knowledge of Docker (preferred).
• Interest or knowledge in AI, especially LLMs and Stable Diffusion (preferred).
• Familiarity with G-Cloud services and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
