Job Description:

The Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan, is seeking an experienced e-Commerce Expert on a 2-year contract basis to help advance Pakistan's digital trade and e-commerce initiatives. The role requires expertise in e-commerce, digital trade, supply chain management, and digital marketing to contribute to the national digital economy.

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects aimed at expanding digital trade and e-commerce capabilities in Pakistan.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the national e-commerce landscape.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align e-commerce initiatives with national digital trade objectives.
• Implement best practices in digital marketing, supply chain management, and digital trade processes.
• Support the establishment and improvement of digital infrastructure for commerce within the Ministry.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage digital trade and e-commerce projects to improve Pakistan’s competitive edge in global markets.
• Create and drive strategic plans to boost the e-commerce sector, ensuring local businesses thrive in the digital space.
• Work alongside government stakeholders and other key departments to ensure alignment with national policies and objectives.
• Support the development of government policies that enhance e-commerce infrastructure and streamline online business operations.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented e-commerce strategies, adjusting as necessary for optimum results.
