Job Description:

The Chief Internal Auditor is responsible for overseeing and managing the internal audit functions of PITC. The role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, identifying risks, evaluating internal controls, and providing recommendations to improve governance and financial operations.

Requirements:

• Must be a member of a recognized body of professional accountants such as CA/ACCA/CPA/ACMA or hold an MBA in Finance from a reputed local or international university/institution.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in internal auditing, financial management, or governance, with expertise in assessing risks and internal controls in public sector organizations, state-owned entities, or other relevant fields.
• Maximum age: 55 years as of the closing date of the application.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits to evaluate compliance with laws, policies, and procedures.
• Develop and implement audit plans and frameworks to assess organizational risks and internal controls.
• Prepare and present detailed audit reports to the Board of Directors, highlighting findings and actionable recommendations.
• Ensure timely identification and resolution of issues related to risk, compliance, and governance.
• Collaborate with management to improve internal processes and enhance organizational efficiency.
