Job Description:

TeknoFlair is seeking an experienced Senior WordPress Engineer / Lead Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive back-end development experience in WordPress, with strong knowledge of PHP frameworks (especially WordPress and Laravel). You will be responsible for managing client projects, handling back-end development tasks, and ensuring the functionality and performance of WordPress websites. Responsibilities:

• Manage WordPress projects independently, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope
• Develop and maintain high-quality back-end code for WordPress websites
• Build custom themes/plugins and enhance existing ones
• Optimize client websites for speed and security
• Research solutions for complex user requirements
• Maintain and manage client websites post-launch
• Set up and manage Linux servers on AWS/Google Cloud for testing and production environments
• Collaborate directly with clients to meet their requirements and set project goals

Requirements:

• 3-4+ years of experience in WordPress back-end development
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks, particularly WordPress and Laravel
• Proven experience in building websites from scratch and adding functionality to existing WordPress sites
• Ability to create custom themes/plugins for WordPress and customize existing ones
• Proficient in website optimization for performance and security
• Strong understanding of Linux servers and hosting platforms (AWS/Google Cloud)
• Excellent problem-solving and research skills
• Strong communication skills to interact directly with clients
• Ability to deliver high-quality code within set timelines

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
