Job Description:

Prime Health Services is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Professional Coder (CPC) to join our billing department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate coding for diagnoses, procedures, and medical services, as well as ensuring compliance with industry standards and guidelines. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the financial success of our healthcare services through precise claim submissions and revenue cycle management.

Responsibilities:
• Review medical records and assign appropriate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
• Ensure accurate coding for medical procedures and diagnoses
• Verify documentation to ensure appropriate coding practices
• Collaborate with the billing team to streamline claim submissions and resolve discrepancies
• Stay updated with coding changes, payer policies, and industry regulations
• Assist with denial management and claims appeals

Requirements:
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification from AAPC (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of medical coding experience (preferably in a healthcare setting)
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines
• Familiarity with medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
