Job Description

The Local Government & Community Development Department, Lahore, invites applications for several expert-level and management roles. The department seeks qualified professionals for positions such as Manager of Community Engagement, Social Mobilizers for the Community Awareness Program, Gender Associate Expert, Civil Infrastructure Expert, Legal Reforms Compliance Expert, Contract Management Expert, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Expert, Project Incremental Staff, and Mechanical Infrastructure Expert. These roles focus on enhancing community engagement, infrastructure development, compliance with legal reforms, and effective monitoring and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Manager of Community Engagement: Lead community engagement strategies, promote community awareness, and foster partnerships to support program initiatives.
• Social Mobilizers: Engage with communities to raise awareness about government initiatives, mobilize community participation, and support program goals.
• Gender Associate Expert: Integrate gender equity within community programs, ensuring inclusivity and support for gender-sensitive policies.
• Civil & Mechanical Infrastructure Experts: Oversee the planning, design, and maintenance of civil and mechanical infrastructure projects to ensure safety and quality.
• Legal Reforms Compliance Expert: Ensure departmental practices adhere to relevant legal standards, offer guidance on compliance, and monitor adherence to legal reforms.
• Contract Management Expert: Manage and oversee contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing contract terms.
• Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Expert: Track project progress, assess outcomes, and provide insights for program improvement.
• Project Incremental Staff: Support project execution through various administrative and operational tasks to ensure project efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields, as per job requirements.
• Prior experience in community engagement, infrastructure management, legal compliance, contract management, or monitoring and evaluation is preferred.
