The Local Government & Community Development Department, Lahore, is seeking qualified professionals for various expert-level positions to support infrastructure, legal reforms, social mobilization, community engagement, and compliance initiatives. The department is hiring for roles such as Gender Associate Expert, Legal Reforms Compliance Expert, Civil Infrastructure Expert, Mechanical Infrastructure Expert, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Expert, Contract Management Expert, Social Mobilizer, Legal Reforms Expert, and Manager of Community Engagement and Compliance. These positions aim to enhance community-focused projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive the development of infrastructure and legal reforms.

Responsibilities

• Gender Associate Expert: Promote gender equity within community programs and initiatives, ensuring policies and practices support inclusivity.
• Legal Reforms Compliance Expert: Oversee compliance with legal reforms, provide guidance on policy adherence, and ensure departmental practices align with current laws.
• Civil & Mechanical Infrastructure Experts: Design, supervise, and maintain civil and mechanical infrastructure projects, ensuring quality standards and safety protocols.
• Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Expert: Monitor program performance, evaluate project outcomes, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Contract Management Expert: Handle contract negotiation, preparation, and administration to ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Social Mobilizer: Engage with local communities to encourage participation in development projects and raise awareness about government initiatives.
• Manager Community Engagement and Compliance Expert: Coordinate community outreach efforts, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, P.G. Diploma, B.E., or M.Sc. in relevant fields, depending on the position requirements.
• Relevant experience in community engagement, infrastructure management, legal compliance, or monitoring and evaluation is preferred.
