The Financial Management Specialist will work on a contract basis for the “Chief Minister’s Punjab Green Tractor Program (2024-25)” under the Punjab Agriculture Department. The role involves financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the development project, ensuring effective financial management within the project framework.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and develop reports to provide insights for decision-making.
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and financial compliance assessments.
• Utilize financial management software and tools, including QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel.
• Prepare and present financial information for decision-making purposes.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including project funding and allocations.
• Liaise with stakeholders to provide accurate financial reports and projections.
• Ensure compliance with government financial policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Preference for additional certifications such as CA, CFA, CPA, etc.
• Minimum of 08 years of experience in financial management.
• At least 5 years of experience in a relevant government or similar role, preferably within a subsidy scheme or agricultural program.
