Job Description:

The Fabric Manager will oversee fabric production, focusing on research and development (RD), production planning and control (PPC), yarn sourcing, knitting, and dyeing. The ideal candidate is currently working in a similar role at an export-based factory.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct RD of fabric.
• Manage PPC of fabric production.
• Source yarn and manage relationships with yarn brokers.
• Oversee the knitting and dyeing processes.
• Develop fabric production plans from scratch.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in fabric production management.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong network within the textile industry.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fabric production, specifically in knits.
• Proven ability to create fabric plans from the ground up.
• Proficient in MS Office and email communication.
• Strong working relationships with yarn brokers, knitters, and dyeing houses; ability to outsource yarn, knitting, and dyeing when necessary.
