Job Description:

The company requires a full time content writer who is able to demonstrate excellent English writing skills. The candidate will be required to write number of articles, blog posts and keyword driven content using UK-English language. This content will be supported with graphics and creative arts.

Responsibilities:

• Write a variety of articles, blog posts, and keyword-driven content using UK-English.
• Create content supported by graphics and creative arts.
• Write instructional content including ebooks, templates, whitepapers, etc.
• Plan and produce webinars.
• Create and optimize landing pages through A/B testing.
• Develop new types of content and offers from scratch to address gaps in the content strategy.
• Write various types of articles on a wide range of topics for the blog.
• Provide feedback to other contributors and edit other writers’ content.
• Optimize content for search engines and lead generation.
• Conduct analytical projects to improve blog strategies/tactics, to help grow blog subscribers and expand the blog’s reach.
• Create web content that promotes how company customers are using the product and connects with target audiences.
• Write and edit blog posts, press releases, case studies, brochures, white papers, emails, direct marketing pieces, and other collateral.
• Develop strategy and deliver copy for campaigns supporting company marketing, branding, and positioning.
• Collaborate with designers and other Marketing teams to establish and drive authentic, consistent, and compelling messaging across multiple channels.
• Use social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, blogs, and podcasts to develop communities and deliver targeted messaging.
• Compose stories in an interesting and exciting way that compels the reader to read further.
• Take a few calls a day; having a British accent is a plus.
• Provide proactive and motivated teamwork with good communication skills, able to multitask and be mentally agile.

Education Required:

• Degree is not relevant if the candidate meets the above criteria.

Requirements:

• Excellent written English skills (UK English).
• A passion and strong understanding of the industry and the business’ mission.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of the business’ various types of content.
• Good research skills and ability to skim through the internet.
• A love and knack for writing both brief and in-depth content.
• Strong understanding of the industry’s ins and outs.
• Willingness to learn basic presentation tools like PowerPoint.
• Excellent independent and team collaboration skills.
• An analytical mind and interest in using data to optimize/scale blog marketing strategies and tactics.
• Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts.
• Background in writing content related to law and legal is a big plus.
• 1 to 5 years of experience in a similar field.
