Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with proven experience in a managerial capacity within a large trading organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic insights to senior management.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filings.
• Manage cash flow and working capital requirements.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team to ensure high performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business goals.

Education Required:

• ACCA Member or CA (more than CA Inter or at least CA Inter).

Requirements:

• Professional experience of around 5-10 years, with 3-4 years in a managerial capacity.
• Experience in a large trading organization preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
