Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with proven experience in a managerial capacity within a large trading organization.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic insights to senior management.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filings.
- Manage cash flow and working capital requirements.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team to ensure high performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall business goals.
Education Required:
- ACCA Member or CA (more than CA Inter or at least CA Inter).
Requirements:
- Professional experience of around 5-10 years, with 3-4 years in a managerial capacity.
- Experience in a large trading organization preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
