Job Description:

This is a contract role for a Shopify Developer - Template Customization Specialist. As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for customizing templates, developing and implementing Shopify themes, and ensuring the website design aligns with brand guidelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues and optimize website performance. This role is located in Lahore and is an on-site position.

Responsibilities:

• Customize Shopify templates to meet design specifications and brand guidelines.
• Develop and implement new Shopify themes from scratch or by modifying existing ones.
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Optimize website performance and loading speeds.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to Shopify themes and applications.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Integrate third-party apps and APIs to enhance site functionality.
• Maintain and update the Shopify store as needed.
• Implement SEO best practices to improve site visibility and rankings.

Education Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

Requirements:

• Experience in Shopify development and template customization.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Liquid language and Shopify APIs.
• Experience in implementing responsive design and optimizing website performance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience in e-commerce and familiarity with SEO best practices is a plus.
