Job Description:

eSpark Consulting Group is looking for a Sr. PHP/WordPress Plugin Developer to join our dynamic team. As a developer, you would be responsible for creating plugins and managing WordPress websites. Your expertise in Front-end and Back-end development, WordPress website development, and must-know JavaScript can create websites by using different themes and designs

Responsibilities:

• Create customer demand by developing user-friendly WordPress websites using various themes and designs.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Develop and customize WordPress plugins to meet specific project requirements.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins to align with project needs.
• Design and develop front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Maintain and develop back-end systems to support custom-made WordPress websites, themes, and designs utilizing PHP and SQL.
• Optimize websites for improved performance, speed, and SEO, employing various techniques.
• Produce comprehensive documentation for WordPress projects, including detailed specifications and code comments for future reference.
• Collaborate with content creators, developers, designers, and other team members to enhance website appeal.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, errors, and bugs to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Implement security best practices to protect websites from potential threats.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, designs, and techniques.
• Facilitate team meetings, code reviews, and technical discussions to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar.

Requirements:

• Preferably 3 plus years of experience as a Sr. PHP/WordPress Plugin Developer.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
• Strong command of JavaScript/jQuery and can write plugins.
• Hands-on experience with Plugin Development.
• Proficiency in CSS, HTML, PHP, SQL.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Self-motivated and can work on multiple tasks.
