Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate Fashion Designer Intern for our brand FIREOX. The successful candidate will assist in the development and creation of new fashion products, helping to bring our designs to life.

Responsibilities:

• Research current fashion trends and determine what consumers will like.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop ideas for new products based on research data.
• Design sketches for new products with the design team.
• Create clothing patterns for mass production.
• Test and decide on fabrics, colors, patterns, and textures for each design.
• Oversee the production of designs, including carrying out fittings, determining prices, and managing marketing.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and models.
• Communicate technical design information for customer samples.
• Work with team members to design clothes for upcoming seasons.
• Select fabrics and trims.
• Create tech packs with detailed specifications.
• Develop CAD sketches to present to stakeholders.
• Oversee the prototype sample process.
• Work with the design team to create mood boards.
• Create cost sheets and product lists.

Education Required:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

Requirements:

• Strong interest in fashion and textile design.
• Basic knowledge of fashion design principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Ability to create detailed sketches and technical drawings.
• Good understanding of fabric types and their properties.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
