Parents' beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors directly affect their children's learning. According to the researchers, parents who study regularly with their children and do not have to be too strict in raising and training their children, their children are found to have a lot of patience and do not face attention problems.
Below are five steps to success when studying with your child:
1. Make a routine
Finding the right time to sit down and enjoy studying together can be difficult. If possible, create a routine at the same time every day so that you can stick to a regular study session every day. Studying together at bedtime can be a good choice.
2. Spare time to read
Studying together doesn't take much time; just ten minutes a day can make a positive impact. If your child is really engaged in the study session, keep it going, but if they're tired after a busy day at school (or if you're tired after a busy day at work), keep the routine going. Read only a few pages to retain.
3. Create a study environment.
Learning to study can be difficult, and it feels even more difficult if there are too many distractions at home. Try to find a quiet place where there is no noise from the TV, children, or pets. Also, think about being comfortable in a place with adequate lighting. Feeling relaxed will help your child enjoy the experience more.

4. Engage in learning
Sit down and think about whether you and your child are sitting in a place where the text is easily visible and that you can provide as much support as needed during the study session. Your main character word is to check reading or comprehension accuracy.
5. Appreciate after reading
It's important to encourage your child while they're reading, but at least try to make an achievement and praise your child after reading (even if the session wasn't very successful). This way, the session ends on a positive note and helps your child focus on the next session.
In light of the research
Research published in the Journal of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics points to the additional benefits of parent-child reading habits when they sit together. becomes more mature.
According to research, reading with your child a daily routine provides your child with academic benefits as well as emotional benefits that can help them succeed in school and beyond.
The research team surveyed more than 2,000 mother-child pairs from 20 major US cities. The women were asked how much they tended to study with their 1- to 3-year-old child.
Two years later, the mothers were re-interviewed and asked about the extent to which they engaged in physically and/or psychologically aggressive behavior during discipline training, as well as about their children's behaviors.
The study found that a greater tendency to study with a one-year-old child was associated with less strictness in parenting at three years of age. While a greater tendency to study together with the child at the age of three was found to be associated with less strictness in the upbringing and education of the child at the age of five.
Mothers who were more likely to study with their children also reported fewer complaints of aggressive behavior in their children, which was partly due to the parents' strict parenting. I explain the reason for the deficiency. Also, the daily reading habits of parents have far-reaching consequences for children's upbringing and personality development.
